Professional experience
I began my career in 2015 in the audit practice of KPMG in Hamburg. In addition to group and statutory audits under HGB and IFRS, I supported a range of capital markets transactions, including IPOs, bond issuances, the audit of profit forecasts and carve-out engagements. In 2021, I joined PwC Zurich’s Deals practice where I contributed to 47 financial due diligence engagements, primarily on the buy-side, including numerous cross-border transactions involving Swiss and German targets. I was promoted to Engagement Manager in 2023 and left the firm with the beginning of 2025 to focus on my doctoral research and establish my own practice. ttesdorff Diligence GmbH draws on my background in finance & accounting and integrates my academic expertise in corporate governance, shareholder oversight and communication to produce more substantiated diligence findings.
